Building operational systems for uBreakiFix.

I used systems thinking to help shape a new Remote Tech experience for uBreakiFix and Asurion Stores. Designing across the full service ecosystem rather than a single feature. I developed a workflows for calendars and shift capacity, store operations, and parts management.

Systems thinking created the foundation.

The work required a holistic approach- understanding how all the systems connected. I worked with solutions architects to design technician workflows.

This made it possible to build customer needs and store operations into one scalable experience.

For bring teams together, I used service blueprints and program audits to think holistically about complex problems. I guided teams to map user needs and operational systems across the full experience.

How did I move quickly?

I use AI tools like v0 for rapid prototyping.

Quickly turning ideas into sharable concepts, this allowed me to share with stakeholders and make real time updates.

What design approach was used?

More than 800 techs will use this tool, so I took a human centered approach to the design. Their van is their office, which is an emotional connection to the job.

Success will be measured by gains in job efficiency, job duration, and reduction in lost inventory.
