I lead design for the mobile app that manages phone delivery and in-home setup.

What is the Field app?

Asurion is phone insurance. When a damaged claim is filed, we provide a service that sends a tech to your house for phone delivery and set up.

Field app is the enterpise tool that 2500 experts use to navigate, sell products, and successfully complete their jobs.

Now over 1.5M+ jobs annually.

The app was fragmented, and needed a new vision.

In six years, the app had grown from 186k jobs to 1.5M+ annually. The app was in need of a need of a scalable, cohesive redesign.

Features were being added as fragmented solutions, making the overall foundation in need of an architectural rebuild.

My first step was listen to the user - particpate in ride alongs and gather feedback themes.

We quickly drafted a North Star vision: create one central place for start of day, motivate for better sales, and make simplicity the standard.

Building a new app foundation.

I worked with engineers and teams to shape the app architecture from a future-state service blueprint, aligning on key features.

Using a human centered approach, the team outlined jobs and emotional jobs to be done across the experience.

Next came early exploration.

Guided by real expert feedback - my strength is finding information in the cracks.

I led exploration, testing, and learning to shape the experience.

Sharing early concepts to users, I learned what worked or needed refinement, and where we could create the most value.

Launching a new Homepage and Sales dashboard.

Improved- the app was now scalable.

We delivered a centralized landing page that improves way-finding, scalability, and enables faster feature discovery.

And a performance dashboard that includes sales metrics and targets, earnings and an earnings breakdown, and gamification elements.
