Hi! I’m Cat, a product designer working in the technology space in Nashville.

I’m currently a product designer at Nashville’s largest privately held technology company- working on the In-Home team, and previously in fraud and risk prevention. My job is to design an experience for technicians to navigate an in-home repair through our app. Before that, in fraud, I designed products that provided a better customer experience, while creating nets to slow unwanted behavior. I develop design processes for biometric screening and digital validation technologies (example: validating an account through a license)

I achieve these designs by diving deep into behavioral economics (hello, Dan Ariely), and lean into user testing and prototyping. I like collaborating with fellow designers in Figma, and partnering with product managers and engineers on a daily basis. My role extends from adding enthusiasm and support in design reviews, to helping CX and Product achieve business requirements.

My design background originally began in New York fashion world, designing menswear and runway shows, and transitioning to mass market. Have you ever worn a pair of jean pajama pants??

I was recruited to San Francisco to continue apparel licensing work, and began managing projects and attending trade shows. Top projects included Target Mens, Disney, and Harley Davidson collections. I moved to Walmart.com, and learned the world of imagery management and corporations. My UX stride expanded at a Bay Area boutique firm, producing work for Wells Fargo and Lending Club.

As a side interest, connecting women has always been an enjoyment. I volunteered as creative director of San Francisco's networking group: Women,Wine, & Wisdom, and continue to build opportunities in Nashville.

Additionally, I design a tee shirt line in Louisville, called Filly Tees.
